About the Online Deaf Presenter / Author
My name is Lisa Mills and I am your online Sign Language mentor. And CEO / Founder of Lisa Mills Online, the place to be to learn Sign Language the FUN and EASY way!
I am trilingual in spoken English, British Sign Language and Australian Sign Language. I'm also a qualified & registered school teacher, a deaf actress and deaf since birth.
Now I teach sign language to thousands of students around the world through my book, DVD, online courses, and membership.
AND… I am married to a man who is deaf and a native signer. I’m also a mum of three young kids!
So I know what it takes to keep little ones engaged and entertained!
Lots of deaf people experience poor mental health and frustration due to communication and isolation barriers. We're often excluded or highly challenged to access conversations on a day to day basis! It takes its toll on us.
